Introduction to Computer (Hindi)

Computer is an electronic machine  which can be  used to perform some specific tasks or operations.  Computer can store huge amount of data. Firstly we have to know ,Who is the  Father of Computer? - Sir Charl's Babbage

Computer is an electronic device that receives input, stores or processes the input as per user instructions and provides output in desired format.

कंप्यूटर शब्द अंग्रेजी के "Compute" शब्द से बना है, जिसका mean  "Calculation", करना होता है, इसका invention calculation करने के लिये हुआ था, पुराने समय में Computer का use केवल Calculation करने के लिये किया जाता था किन्‍तु आजकल इसका use डाक्‍यूमेन्‍ट बनाने, E-mail, listening and viewing audio and video, play games, database preparation के साथ-साथ और कई कामों में किया जा रहा है, जैसे बैकों में, schools में, Office में, घरों में, दुकानों में, Computer का use widely  किया जा रहा है |


Uses of Computer :

• Playing computer games.
• Writing.
• Solving math problems.
• Watching TV and movies.
• Listening to music.
• Communicating with other people.
• Sending e-mail.
• Using The Internet etc..

Computer has two main parts :

1. Hardware 

2. Software

Some Interesting things about Computer :

-> TYPEWRITER is the longest word that you can write using the letters only on one row of the keyboard of your computer.

-> Doug Engelbart invented the first computer mouse in around 1964 which was made of wood.

-> An average person normally blinks 20 times a minute, but when using a computer he/she blinks only 7 times a minute.

-> The original name of windows was Interface Manager.

-> There are more than 5000 new computer viruses are released every month.

-> The first electronic computer ENIAC weighed more than 27 tons and took up 1800 square feet

-> The house where Bill Gates lives, was designed using a Macintosh computer(Apple).
